A Russian MP has said the Russia-Europe relations will be restored only when the Europeans end their dependence on the United States and stop “paying tribute to them.
The MP claims that the US was being the “unprecedented sabotage” and as a result has left Europeans without cheap gas.
The leader of the A Just Russia – Patriots – For Truth party and faction in the State Duma, Sergey Mironov told us, “It was obvious to the whole world that the United States was behind this unprecedented sabotage, which left half of Europe without cheap Russian gas. Because it was the Americans who benefited from it in the first place.
“Clumsy attempts through the media to blame everything on Ukrainians, Poles, or anyone else are nothing more than an attempt to deflect suspicion from themselves.
“The undermining of gas pipelines is a continuation of the US policy that is trying to ban and remove those who are objectionable to them around the world. Also, the Anglo-Saxons tried to prevent the rapprochement of Russia and Germany, which they historically feared and have been hindering for many years.
“The Americans decided on essentially armed aggression, realizing that in a conflict with Russia, no one would defend the Russian project, even one with the participation of Europeans.
“Thus, the United States threw a noose around the neck of the German economy and, in fact, obliged the Germans to pay tribute for the war with Russia, which is being waged at the hands of Ukrainians.
“Will we ever find out the whole truth about the explosion of the Nord Stream? Will Russia’s relations with Germany and Europe be restored? Perhaps, but only when the Europeans remove the American stranglehold from their necks.”
